Participating in the gallery tour led by Geraint was an unforgettable artistic journey that profoundly influenced my artistic thinking and creative style. During this visit, I was deeply impressed by Damien Meade's work. He gives temporary, interstitial life in the form of sculpture, so that each work persists between one painting and another, as if it had been molded out of clay. This unfired clay gives every object infinite possibilities and can be constantly deformed, taking on a unique artistic expression. Meade's idea of trying to create new painting forms has inspired my creation and led me to think about how to break through traditional artistic expression in my works.

The work of another artist, Ma? gorzata Mirga-Tas, also caught my attention. The characters she portrays are all sitting in chairs, and the audience will feel a lonely emotion when watching. This feeling of loneliness gave me profound thinking power, and prompted me to add chair elements in the subsequent creation, so as to enhance the loneliness of the picture and trigger deeper thinking. Mirga-Tas's works have inspired me that art is not only a visual enjoyment, but also a medium of communication of emotions and ideas.

Through the art exhibition visit led by the tutor, I not only got rich artistic inspiration, but also learned a lot of skills about the use of materials. This experience not only broadened my artistic vision, but also provided me with a new thinking path and creative direction for my creation. I feel very lucky to be able to participate in this gallery tour, which will be a valuable experience in my artistic career and stimulate my deeper creative exploration.

By participating in the art lectures held by the school, I was able to have an in-depth understanding of the works of the artists and their experiences in artistic creation and learning. This series of lectures not only provided me with a wealth of artistic information, but also let me glimpse the challenges and breakthroughs faced by different artists in the process of creation. The learning methods and creative experiences shared by the artists have benefited me a lot, and provided a powerful guide for my growth on the road of art.

 

In these lectures, I learned a lot about practical techniques and strategies for artistic creation, about the use of technical aspects of artistic creation, about inspiration and sensitivity to social culture. This comprehensive study enables me to better understand the nature of artistic creation.

 

I also enrich my works and study the elements of works through in-depth study and research of art-related books and documents. By combining the theoretical knowledge with the artist's practical experience, I can form a fuller and deeper artistic cognition, so that I have unique opinions in the creation.

 

In this process, I found that the study of theoretical knowledge can better guide my practical creation. Through the study of different literatures, I gradually formed the theoretical framework of the work, which endowed me with more depth and connotation in both academic and practice. In general, through school lectures, artists' experience sharing and book research, I have provided a comprehensive and substantial foundation for my work creation.

It is of great help to me to listen to the tutor's opinions, modify the works and improve the theoretical support through several tutorials. In the form of group discussion, I listened to the opinions of many students, and in the active communication with students, I was exposed to a variety of different artistic views and aesthetic concepts. This diverse exchange of opinions provides me with a new perspective, allowing me to grasp the elements of my work more comprehensively, and integrate these elements organically into my creation. The group discussion not only promoted my deep thinking about art, but also cultivated my ability to discuss art issues with others, and further deepened my grasp and application of the elements of the work. The guidance and opinions of my tutors through the pop-up show have exerted a profound influence on my future research direction. By showing my works and listening to the feedback from my tutor and classmates, I began to clarify my artistic orientation and style more clearly. At the same time, I also thought about the direction of my future creation under the inspiration of my tutor. This process not only made me more confident in my own art practice, but also stimulated my desire for deeper exploration and pursuit in the field of art, and I began to think about the direction of future research.
